Sunday School

Here at Memorial, the Education Committee is formed by the Sunday School Teachers from nursery to adult.  The group is committed to providing quality Christian Education by keeping a pulse on current United Methodist resources, the sharing of creative ideas and ensuring all activities are Biblical-based.  Every teacher faithfully approaches their class with a full heart for God and with a deep desire for each child to know God more fully.

We offer small groups from nursery to young adult.  Please come as you are, we welcome you to join us as the body of Christ.

Ministry Experiences

Youth Mission Trip            
Each summer the youth attend a week long mission trip with different organizations like ASP (Appalachian Service Project) or Youthworks Service project.  Through these mission opportunities the youth grow in their spiritual walk by helping others and serving the Lord.

Worship Options for Children

We LOVE having children in worship. It sounds as if God's family is all there!  We do offer nursery and toddler care for younger children as you desire.

Nursery and Toddler care - For children 0 - 5 years old we offer nursery care by our Nursery Director Mrs. Thelma Boyd and Mrs. Julie Spires.

Children’s church - For children 5 and above we offer a Children’s Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. during the regular worship service for the summer months.

Safe Sanctuaries 

As followers of Christ, we are called to watch over His sheep keeping each other safe and secure.  In doing so, our operations are through a 'Safe Sanctuaries' titled child/youth/young adult protection program. Information about out policy and procedures can be found in each classroom.
